OUR APPROACH

With You Every Step of the Way

Our philosophy focuses on several key principles.

Collaboration: We recognize that the desire to change comes from within the individual. The therapist serves as a facilitator, not a creator.

A Strength-Based approach: The therapist serves to help actualize the client's existing inner resources.

Existentialism:  Avoids pathologizing every difficulty. To suffer is to be human. Not all suffering can be avoided, AND, life can still be enjoyed.

Neuroplasticity:  The nervous system is designed to adapt to our environment, this flexibility can be harnassed to effect change in our bodies, minds, and lives.

Transcendence:  Humans beings and families are resilient & sacred- capable of transforming and transcending any hardship.

Consultations are also effective for complex cases that have not responded to typical treatment.  We offer case reviews and second opinions to help guide treatment that yields results.
